EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, January 10, 1994, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mastel, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9028 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT SW-93-12, COUNTY ROAD C PATHWAY IMPROVEMENTS, AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 27, 1993, to consider the construction of 4.8 miles of pathway along County Road C from Rice Street to Cleveland Avenue, Rice Street from County Road C to County Road B, Fairview Avenue from County Road C to Oakcrest, and Snelling Avenue from County Road C to Oakcrest Avenue, City Project SW-93-12; and WHEREAS, required mailed and publicshed notices were given; and WHEREAS, the City council continued the public hearing until October 11, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City Council continued the public hearing until January 10, 1994; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council continued pUblic hearings on October 11, 1993, and January 10, 1994, to consider the proposed construction of city Improvement SW-93-12 consisting of the construction of 4.8 miles of pathway along County Road C from Rice Street to Cleveland Avenue, Rice Street from County Road C to County Road B, Fairview Avenue from County Road C to Oakcrest, and Snelling Avenue from County Road C to Oakcrest Avenue as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $800,000 with ISTEA federal funds financing 80% of construction costs and the City of Roseville financing 20% of construction costs and all other project costs including, right- of-way, engineering, and other miscellaneous costs and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the city Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed.
