MRS. E. ZELMET, 935 Parker: The people on Parker have signed
a petition in opposition to the improvement. They don't need the
improvement and don't want it. The people below them in the swamp
area knew it was a swamp when they bought their property.

~ffi. RICHARD DURGIN, 1048 Parker Avenue: His lot is 87 x about
460 feet deep. He asked if the Council had plans to construct a
road through the back part of his property which would then
determine what his assessment would be.

MISS DENISE ANDRES, 90l Parker: If the majority of the
people on Parker don't want the storm sewer improvement, why
couldn't it be put on the next street.

MR. RUSSELL MALINER, Route 4, Box 80, Stillwater: Question
about an addition to the main sewer line. Said he owns a piece
of property that doesn't require storm sewer.

MR. JAMES CASEY, 1965 N. Victoria (Spoke before): He said the
only way he would get a benefit would be if a proposed addition to
the main sewer line would ever be constructed. If it is, he asked
if he would be assessed again. Also suggested that drainage should
be run into the present swamps rather than trying to drain them.

The hearing on Storm Sewer Improvement 67-24 closed.

Improvement 69-20

MRS. JACK ADAMSON, owns commercial property at 2191 North
Snelling: Opposed to the improvement. Does not feel it's
warranted in that area and the assessments would be excessive.
They have a drainage ditch in front of their property and the
water does run off.

LUCILE ENG, 2213 Midlothian: Asked what the purpose was of
running the storm sewer north of County Road B. She lives at the
top of a hill and the water runs down to a neighbor.

MR. DENNIS GILBERTSON, 2183 Midlothian: It had been mentioned
that the land to the north is developing. Wanted to know what the
development is. Further asked if there was a possibility of
connecting directly to the St. Paul system ~p the water would go
directly into the river.

The hearing on Storm Sewer Improvement 69-20 closed.
