CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br />Notice Is hereby given that the <br />ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL will hold a <br />regular meeting in the City Council <br />Chambers at City Hall, 2660 Civic <br />Center Drive, on Monday, August 9, <br />2010 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the <br />following public hearing: <br />Variance from C(ty Code section <br />405.03 HOURLY... RESTRICTIONS OF <br />CERTAIN OPERATIONS: Veit <br />Company is seeking a variance from <br />code section 405.03 D. Construction <br />Activities. This section of the City's code <br />permits construction activfties to occur <br />between the hours of seven o'clock <br />(7:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. <br />on any weekday, or between the hours <br />of nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. and nine <br />o'clock (9:00) P.M. on any weekend or <br />legal holidays. <br />Veit Company is the general contractor <br />for the Twin Lakes Infrastructure Phase <br />2 Construction Project. This project <br />consists of the construction of Twin <br />Lakes Parkway, between Mount Ridge <br />Road and Prior Avenue, the <br />construction of Prior Avenue, between <br />Twin Lakes Parkway and County Road <br />C, and a signal at County Road C and <br />Prior Avenue. The project also includes <br />watemtain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, <br />streetlights, fiber conduit, and <br />landscape installation. They are seeking <br />a variance to work between 10:00 PM <br />and 7:00 AM during the week of <br />September 6th through September <br />ian, 2oio. <br />New watermain serving the Twin Lakes <br />Redevelopment Area needs to be <br />connected to the existing watennain in <br />County Road C. This will require the <br />shutdown of water service to a number <br />of businesses in addition to the closure <br />of lanes of traffic along County Road C. <br />The Contractor is asking for the <br />variance so that they can reduce <br />inconvenience to these property owners <br />and to the travelling public. <br />Mow to Participate or get the <br />decision of the City Council: <br />1.
