EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan; Pust; Roe; Johnson; and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: none <br />Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10832 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-ST-SW-09-02 ROSELAWN AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-ST-SW-09-02 <br />Roselawn Avenue Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Roselawn Avenue between Hamline <br />Avenue and Victoria Street by the installation of concrete paving, concrete curb and gutter, watermains, <br />sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary appurtenances; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's contract price for such improvement is $1,482,136.48, and the expenses incurred <br />or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $257,614.77, so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $1,739,751.25. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$1,458,126.72 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br />be $281,624.53. <br />2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The City Manager sb.all, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Klausing, and upon <br />a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan; Pust; Roe; Johnson; and <br />Klausing and the following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
