EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Ihlan; Pust; Roe; Johnson; and Klausing and the following were absent: none Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10832 RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS P-ST-SW-09-02 ROSELAWN AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-ST-SW-09-02 Roselawn Avenue Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Roselawn Avenue between Hamline Avenue and Victoria Street by the installation of concrete paving, concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the City's contract price for such improvement is $1,482,136.48, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $257,614.77, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,739,751.25. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be $1,458,126.72 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $281,624.53. 2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3. The City Manager sb.all, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Klausing, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan; Pust; Roe; Johnson; and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
