<br />NOTICE OF SALE <br />$l,595,000 <br />TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1970 <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village <br />of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, will meet in the Village <br />Hall in said village on Monday, the 18th day of May, 1970 at <br />7:00 o'clock p. m. for the purpose of receiving and considering <br />sealed bids for the purchase of $1,595,000 general obligation <br />Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1970 of the village, said bonds to <br />be dated May l, 1970, to bear interest at the rate designated by <br />the successful bidder, payable November 1, 1970 and semiannually <br />thereafter on May 1 and November 1 in each year, all of said bonds <br />to mature on May 1, 1973. <br /> <br />All bonds of this issue are subject to prior payment in <br />inverse order of serial numbers on May 1, 1972, at par and accrued <br />interest. Both principal and interest will be payable at any <br />suitable bank or trust company in the United States designated by <br />the successful bidder within 48 hours after award. The village <br />will furnish, without cost to the purchaser, the mimeographed or <br />printed and executed bonds in denominations of $1,000 each, or, <br />at the purchaser's request within 48 hours after award, in any <br />larger denomination, and the unqualified approving legal opinion of <br />Messrs. Dorsey, Marquart, Windhorst, West and Halladay of <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Messrs. Peterson & popovich of St. Paul, <br />Minnesota, together with the customary no litigation certificate. <br />Delivery will be made anywhere in the United States within 30 days <br />after acceptance of the bid, without cost to the purchaser. <br /> <br />Sealed bids marked "Bid for $1,595,000 Temporary Improvement <br />Bonds of 1970" may be mailed or otherwise delivered to the <br />undersigned, but must be received by him prior to the time of said <br />meeting. Each bid must be unconditional except as to bonds being <br />issued and delivered with said opinion and the no-litigation <br />certificate in conformity with this notice, and each bid must be <br />accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check payable to <br />the order of "Village of Rosevi11e, Ramsey County, Minnesota" in the <br />amount of $31,900 to be forfeited as liquidated damages in case <br />the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to comply therewith. <br />
