NOTICE OF SALE $l,595,000 TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1970 VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, will meet in the Village Hall in said village on Monday, the 18th day of May, 1970 at 7:00 o'clock p. m. for the purpose of receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of $1,595,000 general obligation Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1970 of the village, said bonds to be dated May l, 1970, to bear interest at the rate designated by the successful bidder, payable November 1, 1970 and semiannually thereafter on May 1 and November 1 in each year, all of said bonds to mature on May 1, 1973. All bonds of this issue are subject to prior payment in inverse order of serial numbers on May 1, 1972, at par and accrued interest. Both principal and interest will be payable at any suitable bank or trust company in the United States designated by the successful bidder within 48 hours after award. The village will furnish, without cost to the purchaser, the mimeographed or printed and executed bonds in denominations of $1,000 each, or, at the purchaser's request within 48 hours after award, in any larger denomination, and the unqualified approving legal opinion of Messrs. Dorsey, Marquart, Windhorst, West and Halladay of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Messrs. Peterson & popovich of St. Paul, Minnesota, together with the customary no litigation certificate. Delivery will be made anywhere in the United States within 30 days after acceptance of the bid, without cost to the purchaser. Sealed bids marked "Bid for $1,595,000 Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1970" may be mailed or otherwise delivered to the undersigned, but must be received by him prior to the time of said meeting. Each bid must be unconditional except as to bonds being issued and delivered with said opinion and the no-litigation certificate in conformity with this notice, and each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check payable to the order of "Village of Rosevi11e, Ramsey County, Minnesota" in the amount of $31,900 to be forfeited as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to comply therewith.
