EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA - HELD MAY 25. 1970 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Counei 1 of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, May 25, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Anderson and the following were absent: None Member Cur ley moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 5414 WHEREAS. it appears in the best interest of the Village of Roseville to establish a License Bureau for the purpose of controll- ing and issuing of Village licenses and state motor vehicle licenses; NOW, TI-lERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The proposed license bureau is to be established within and under the control of the Roseville Police Department. 2. The transfer of $3,000 from the Contingency Fund to the Police Account of the General Fund is necessary for the purpose of providing the staff and equipment for the operation of the license bureau. 3. The establishment of the position of Clerk II. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Grauel and upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
