EXTRACT OF HINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, /'.lINNESOTA - HELD JUNE 8, 1970 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of tile Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Villaj;7,e Hall in said Village on /'.1onday, June 8, 1970, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor /'.1011, Counei Imen Linebarger, Anderson, Curley and the following was absent: Counei Iman Graue 1 Member LinebarRer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5426 WHEREAS, certain members of the Rosevi 11e Police Department have joined Local 149 IBT and certain members of the Roseville Street Division of the Public Works Depart- ment and certain members of the Roseville Utility Division of the Public Works Department have joined Local 49 of the International Operating Engineers; AND WHEREAS, the Village Couneil has recognized the above two Union organizations as the sole representative for those employees who have joined the above unions; AND WHEREAS, these unions are represented by Business Agents AND WHEREAS, the Village Council is desirous of maintaining proper reI ationships with the above named unions and their respective Business Agents; NOli', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in the negotiations to be conducted between Local 149 I8T and Local 49 of the International Operating Engineers, that the Vi llage Council appoint the Villa~e Manager or his agent, to be the Village representative in any and all forthcomin~ negotiations for the year 1971. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Curley and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Linebarger, Anderson, Curley, ~1011 and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
