March 1, 2001 <br />Note to /Vicky Lorenz <br />Jack Brewer <br />RE: Section 5.02 Initiative and Referendum <br />There was some discussion of Section 5.02 after the motions <br />to divide it into two separate sections were made, as noted in <br />the minutes. I have replayed the videotape three times and <br />find that there were no amendments, friendly or otherwise, or <br />no new motions to change the original language of the motions <br />that were made. I did, however, give a title to 5.03, since <br />this was not included in the motion, but mentioned in the <br />discussion. I'm just mentioning this, in case any questions <br />come up next month. <br />I personally feel these separate sections should be retained <br />as they were approved. Renumbering the sections of Chapter 5 <br />should not be a problem, especially since we will be <br />considering adding a section on expenditures.
