STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />DISTRICT COURT <br />SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT <br />In the Matter of <br />A Charter Commission for <br />The City of Roseville, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />To: Honorable Lawrence Cohen <br />Chief Judge of the Second Judicial District <br />Court File No. CO-99-5532 <br />REPORT TO THE CHIEF JUDGE <br />OF THE ABOVE COURT PURSUANT <br />TO MINN. STAT. 410.05, SUBD. 2 <br />The Charter Commission heretofore appointed is pleased to report the following activities <br />occurring in the calendar year 2001. <br />1. On August 15, 2001, the Commission adopted a final document and submitted the <br />same to City Council requesting the matter be placed on the ballot in the general election of <br />November 6, 2001. <br />2. On November 6, 2001, the electorate of the City of Roseville voted as follows: <br />a. 2,635 in favor of charter; <br />b. 3,759 in opposition to charter. <br />3. At the October meeting, new officers of Commission were elected. They were: <br />a. Chair: Robert Bell <br />b. Vice-Chair: Ronald Riach <br />c. Secretary: Phillip Crump <br />4. The by-laws of the Commission were amended. <br />5.
