RESOLUTION TO DISSOLVE <br />Whereas, The Roseville Charter Commission adopted a motion <br />to write a proposed city charter on August 16, 2000; <br />Whereas,: The citizens of Roseville defeated the proposed <br />charter by a vote of 59% to 41% on November 6, 2001; <br />Whereas, a revised charter was placed on the ballot for <br />the November 5, 2002 election; <br />Whereas, The revised charter was defeated by..a vote of <br />63% to 37%; <br />Whereas, The voters of Roseville have twice found that <br />a charter for the City of Roseville is neither necessary nor <br />desirable; now therefore'be it <br />RESOLVED, That the Roseville Charter Commission accep~'.the <br />judgment of the voters as final; and <br />RESOLVED, That the Roseville Charter Commission declare itself <br />dissolved according to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes <br />410.05, Subd. 5, and that its members be dismissed. <br />We respectfully request the Chief Judge of the District Court <br />to accept this action. <br />Dated: November 20, 2002 <br />SIGNED: <br />t <br />
