Roseville Charter Commission <br />A meeting of the Roseville Charter Commission, was held at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th day of <br />November, 2004. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION TO DISSOLVE THE CHARTER COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Charter Commission adopted a motion to write a proposed city <br />charter on August 16, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Roseville defeated the proposed charter in November, 2001 and <br />again in November, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Roseville have twice found that a charter for the City of Roseville <br />is not necessary or desirable, the Commission concurrs with their decision; <br />therefore be it <br />RESOLVED that the Roseville Charter Commission be discharged according to the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statute 401.05, Subd.S. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner and upon vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />WHEREUPON the resolution was passed and adopted. <br />Georgiana Sobola, Chairperson <br />
