1~1~ ~/.~,,, September 9, 2005 Re: Roseville Charter Commission, CO 99-5532 Honorable Judge Gregg Johnson Ramsey County Courthouse 15 Kellogg Boulevard West St. Paul; MN 55102 Dear Judge Johnson: Since new commissioners have -not yet been appointed and qualified for the five vacancies on the Roseville Charter Commission we have canceled the September 21 meeting date which was set for our required annual meeting: Because the Commission has been inactive since the proposed charter was last rejected by the citizens in November. 2002, there appears to be nothing to report on this scheduled date until the appointments are made. We will reschedule the meeting when the new commissioners are appointed and qualified. It would-be helpful for you to designate a chairperson for the rescheduled meeting. The only officer remaining is Vicky Lorenz, the current vice chair. Because of the press of her many time-consuming obligations, she is unwilling to take on the responsibility of chairing this meeting; therefore the meeting chair will need to be chosen from the other three remaining commissioners or one of the new appointees..
