In this case, I'm not sure what the benefit is. In <br />fact, I would prefer that the street lights be shut off in front of my <br />house and in the back of my lot. I grew up on a farm where we could enjoy <br />the darkness and the stars at night. When a few houses were built across <br />the street from the back of my lot several years ago, an annoying light <br />went up that ruined the darkness.
