In his message, he stated: "I'd like to suggest that we could retain the current lot standards in the highlighted. areas, and still achieve a corriparable level of conformity with the lot size standards, even when combined with the change to a "small lot" zone in the remainder of the SF residential areas of the city. Generally, I highlighted areas that are already "significantly in compliance" with our 11,000 sq ft standard, and also areas with narrow but deep lots (like along Co Rd B & Parker Avenue between Lexington and Victoria, and Roselawn between Hamline and Snelling, and around Lake Owasso, for example), where there is a possibility of re-combination to create cul-de-sacs,. and the current lot standard would be more fitting with the surrounding pattern (in my opinion)."
