EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 13th day of September, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; Pust; and Klausing and the <br />following members were absent: none <br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10837 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT NO. PW 2010-20: <br />RAMSEY COUNTY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH CITY'S OF <br />ROSEVILLE, FALCON HEIGHTS AND ST. PAUL <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, The County and Roseville, Falcon Heights and St. Paul desire to install <br />Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP) at the signalized intersections of County Road C & <br />Walnut Street, Cleveland Ave & Roselawn Avenue, Larpenteur Avenue & Victoria Street, <br />and Larpenteur Avenue & Dale Street; <br />AND WHEREAS, the City of Roseville believes that these systems are very important for <br />Emergency vehicle response times and intersection safety; <br />NOW, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville enter into Agreement No. PW 2010-20: <br />Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement with City's of Roseville, Falcon Heights and St. Paul <br />for the following purposes: <br />To install Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption at County Road C & Walnut Street, <br />Cleveland Ave & Roselawn Avenue, Larpenteur Avenue & Victoria Street, and <br />Larpenteur Avenue & Dale Street, State Aid Project No's. 160-227-011, 160-243-005, <br />and 160-020-022, and City Project No. 10-21, within the corporate city limits. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute <br />the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. <br />The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Roe and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; Pust; and Klausing and the <br />following voted against: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
