EXT CT OF UES OF FETING OFT E <br />VA 1VCE BOA OFT E CITY OF SE LLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 3`d day of May, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and <br />Doherty. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Sl~T 0.34 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §703 OF THE OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY CODE FOR ROBERT 1VIUCOW, 1511 WEST ROSELAWN AVENUE (PF3726) <br />WHEREAS, Robert Muchow has requested a VARIANCE to §703.04 (Regulation of <br />Public Ways) of the Roseville City Code to allow the continuation of the existing 5-foot <br />driveway setback from a street intersection; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1511 West Roselawn Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />THE EAST 75 FEET OF THE WEST 135 FEET OF THE SOUTH 183 FEET OF THE <br />SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUT EST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST <br />QUARTER OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 29 NORTH, GE 23 WEST, SUBJECT <br />TO ROSELAWN AVENUE <br />PIN: 15-29-23-23-0045 <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04 requires that driveway entrances in R-1 zones be setback at <br />least 30 feet from the right-of way of a street intersection; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Muchow seeks to preserve the current 5-foot setback from the Arona <br />Street right-of--way of the existing driveway; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />25-foot VARIANCE to Section 703.04B(4) (Standards For Driveways) to allow the continuation <br />of the existing 5-foot driveway setback from the Arona Street right-of--way. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Bakeman, Boerigter, and Doherty; <br />
