EXT CT F TES F ETI~C I' T <br />VAIN liTCE BA F T E CITY F IBS LLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 7`h day of June, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and <br />Doherty. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />ESLZTTIIiT 1V. 36 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO §1104 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR CONSTANCE BRIOL, 2025 LEXINGTON AVENUE (PF3761) <br />WHEREAS, Constance Briol has requested a VARIANCE to § 1104 (Residential <br />Districts) of the Roseville City Code to allow for the construction of a new detached garage <br />behind the residence, which will allow for a reduction in impervious coverage to an amount still <br />greater than allowed by the Code; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 2025 Lexington Avenue, and legally described <br />as: <br />THE NORTH 57.6 FEET OF LOT 2, POTEN'S G EN HILLS, SUBJECT TO <br />ROADS AND EXCLUDING THE WEST 65.92 FEET <br />PID 15-29-23-14-0029 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 requires that impervious surface on a residential <br />property not exceed 30% of the lot area; and <br />WHEREAS, Constance Briol seeks to improve her property such that impervious <br />surfaces would cover 800 square feet more than the Code allows while actually reducing the <br />overall impervious coverage on her lot; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if certain conditions <br />identified below are met; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve an <br />800 square foot VARIANCE to §1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville <br />City Code allowing the construction of a new detached garage behind the residence, and the <br />consequent reduction of the driveway, subject to the following condition: <br />
