EXT CT F UTS F FETING F' T E VA NCE A F E CITY F I2SE I.I,E Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of July, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. The following members were present: Members Boerigter and Doherty and Alternate Member Roe Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: VB RES®I.UTION N®. 40 A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES TO §1104 AND §703 OF THE OF THE ROSEVILLE CITI' CODE FOR ANN SEVERSON, 617 SOUTH OWASSO BOULEVA (PF3773) WHEREAS, Ann Severson, on behalf of the Ann Severson Living Trust, has requested a VARIANCE to §703 (Regulation of Public Ways) and a VARIANCE to § 1104 (Residential Districts) of the Roseville City Code to allow for the widening of the driveway; and WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 617 South Owasso Boulevard, and legally described as: SWANSON SHORES LOT 8 BLOCK 2 PIN: O1-29-23-23-0032 WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 requires a minimum side yard setback of 5 feet for driveways and parking areas; and WHEREAS, Ann Severson, trustee of the Ann Severson Living Trust, seeks to improve her property such that a driveway would be paved 1.5 feet closer to the side lot line than the Code allows; and WHEREAS, Section 703.04B requires that driveways not exceed 26 feet in width at the front lot line; and WHEREAS, Ann Severson, trustee of the Ann Severson Living Trust, seeks to improve her property such that the driveway would be 1.5 feet wider at the front property line than the Code allows; and WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if certain conditions identified below are met;
