EXT C UTES F FETING F T E <br />VAIN NCE BA F T CITY F 12S I~I,E <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of July, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Members Boerigter and Doherty and Alternate <br />Member Roe <br />Alternate Variance Board Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />ESI..TI N N . 3~ <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A V ANCE TO §1104 OF THE OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR TONY TRO RIDGE, 465 WOODRUFF AVENUE <br />(PF3770) <br />WHEREAS, Tony Trowbridge has requested a VARIANCE to § 1104 (Residential <br />Districts) of the Roseville City Code to allow for the construction of an awning supported. by <br />columns on footings; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 465 Woodruff Avenue, and legally described <br />as: <br />ROLLING GREEN LOT 3 BLOCK 3 AND THAT PART OF LOT 2 BLOCK 3 LYING <br />EASTERLY OF A LINE RUN FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2 TO <br />A POINT ON THE NORTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 2 AND 75 FEET EASTERLY <br />FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2 <br />PIN: 13-29-23-31-0055 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 requires a minimum front yard setback of 30 feet for <br />principal structures; and <br />WHEREAS, the existing structure is located 18 feet from the front property line by virtue <br />of a previously issued "minor variance"; and <br />WHEREAS, Tony Trowbridge seeks to improve his property such that the principal <br />structure would be extended a total of 16 feet closer to the front lot line than the Code allows; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if certain conditions <br />identified below are met; <br />
