NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />560 square foot VARIANCE to §1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) and a 3-foot <br />VARIANCE to § 1004.016 (Minimum Driveway Setback) of the Roseville City Code allowing <br />the construction of a living area addition on the rear of the home, the construction of a new <br />detached two-car garage behind the residence, and the consequent construction of the driveway, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The driveway must not encroach within 2 feet of the side lot line. <br />2. Once the pavement has passed the rear of the home, the driveway is to be turned <br />toward the interior of the lot so that a side yard setback of 5 feet may be achieved <br />as soon as is practicable. <br />3. The proposed detached garage must not encroach into the required side yard <br />setback. <br />4. The detached garage must not exceed 576 square feet in size. <br />5. The total impervious coverage on the lot must not exceed 3,655 square feet. <br />6. The detached garage must have gutters that direct storm water runoff from the <br />roof into the back yard and not onto the driveway or adjacent properties. <br />7. Mitigation measures must be undertaken to divert water and/or control the rate of <br />storm water runoff from the site as approved by the City Engineer. <br />8. The garden shed behind the residence must be removed from the site. <br />9. The variance shall expire within 6 months of its approval if a building permit is <br />not issued pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Doherty and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Boerigter, Doherty and Roe; <br />and none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />2 <br />
