Consider Adopting the Preliminary HRA Levy <br />Finance Director Miller briefly reviewed the request of the HRA for a Preliminary <br />Levy at a zero percent increase as detailed in the RCA dated September 13, 2010 <br />Pust moved, Johnson seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10843 entitled, "A <br />Resolution Submitting the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in and for the <br />City of Roseville, Special Property Tax Levy on Real Estate, to the Ramsey <br />County Auditor for the Fiscal Year of 2011," (Attachment A) in the amount of <br />$353,500, the same levy as 2010. <br />Councilmember Ihlan spoke in support of the motion since it requested no tax in- <br />crease; however, opined that the tax levy could be reduced further and that reduc- <br />tion should include reviewing HRA line items for potential reductions. <br />Councilmember Pust congratulated the HRA for keeping their levy request at a <br />zero percent increase while maintaining their ongoing programs. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />13.
