NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to
APPROVE a 900-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total
Surface Area) and a 13.5-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 (Residential Setbacks},
subject to certain conditions:
1. The new garage shall be limited to a depth of 28 feet and a width of 24 feet.
2. The total impervious surface area on the lot shall be limited to 41 %; if existing
impervious coverage is to be removed to comply with this limitation, such
removal must be completed prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy
for the new garage.
3. Mitigation measures may include directing rain
gutters toward the interior of the lot, installing and properly maintaining a
"rain garden" water filtration basin, or some combination of these or other
measures as approved by the City Engineer.
4. The structure shall remain at least 16.5 feet from the rear property line.
5. The VARIANCE shall expire 6 months after the approval date if a building
permit is not issued pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Members
Boerigter and Doherty;
And none voted against;
WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Page 2 of 3
