X CT ES O TNG OFT E <br />VA NCE BOA OFT E CITY O ROSE L <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of July, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Boerigter, and Members Doherty and <br />Martinson <br />and none were absent. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION . 61 <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING A 200-SQU -FOOT V ANCE TO §1004.1A(6) <br />( MUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR <br />BRIAN NORDLING,1689 COUNTY ROAD C2 (PF07-030) <br />WHEREAS, Brian Nordling has requested a VARIANCE to §1004.1A(6) to allow more <br />impervious coverage on a residential property than the Code allows; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1689 County Road C2; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.1A(6) limits impervious coverage to 30% of asingle-family <br />residential property; and <br />WHEREAS, Brian Nordling seeks to increase the impervious coverage to 31.5% on his <br />residential property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are NOT present and <br />support CANNOT be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to DENY a <br />200-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.1A(6) (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the <br />Roseville City Code, thereby prohibiting the proposed excess impervious coverage. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Boerigter, Doherty, and Martinson <br />And none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
