T CT OF TS MEETING OFT <br />VAR NCE BOA OFT E CITY ROSVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of April, 2007, <br />at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Acting Chair Boerigter and Members <br />Doherty and Wozniak. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0.56 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A V ANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR MICHELLE GRIMES, <br />1741 STANBRIDGE AVENUE (PF07-016) <br />WHEREAS, Michelle Grimes has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residential <br />Districts) to allow excess impervious lot coverage; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1741 Stanbridge Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />LOT 10, BLOCK 1 FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS <br />PIN: 04-29-23-13-0009 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 allows impervious surfaces to cover up to 30% <br />of a residential lot; and <br />WHEREAS, Michelle Grimes seeks to increase the impervious coverage to <br />approximately 35% of the lot area, a 500-square-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 500-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total <br />Surface Area), subject to certain conditions: <br />1. The size of the proposed addition must not exceed that illustrated in the plans <br />reviewed with this application, and the total impervious surface area on the <br />property shall not exceed 35% of the lot area. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
