WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if the <br />conditions identified below are met; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />14 foot setback VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M (Ground Signs) and a 2 foot height <br />VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M (Ground Signs) that. will allow the replacement of a pre- <br />existing non-conforming freestanding ground/monument sign on the premises subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. The freestanding monument/ground sign shall be set back a minimum of 1 foot <br />from the property line adjacent to Lexington Avenue. <br />2. The freestanding monument/ground sign shall not exceed 75 sq. ft. of signage <br />area. <br />3. The variance (if granted) shall expire within 6 months of its approval if a sign <br />permit is not issued (Section 1013.03). <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Wozniak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Bakernan, Wozniak, and Acting Chair Boerigter. <br />And none voted against: None <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />2 <br />
