EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Tuesday, January 7, 2000 at 6:30p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Kysylyczyn, <br />The following members were absent: None <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL AMENDMENT <br />AND REVISIONS TO THE 2000 ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, <br />REVISING CERTAIN TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS <br />OF THE EXISTING PLAN ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN 1994, AS AMENDED <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Acts of 1976 and 1996 the City <br />of Roseville is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1979 adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was reviewed and approved by the Metropolitan Council, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville Planning Commission and City Council adopted an <br />amended and revised Comprehensive Plan on September 12, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, in addition to project amendments, since the 1994 adoption the Planning <br />Commission and City Council annually have held public hearings to update the Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and <br />published legal notice to affected communities and property owners within 350 feet of a land use <br />map change, holding a public hearing at the time of the requested amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville published legal notice and the Roseville Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on December 13, 2000 regarding the affirmation of all <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments occurring in 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 13, 2000 the Roseville Planning Commission, after due <br />consideration at the public hearing mentioned above, unanimously approved and recommended <br />approval of the affirmation of all Comprehensive Plan Amendments occurring in 2000; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />hereby approves and adopts the 2000 amendments (and appendices and adoptions by reference) <br />to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan, subject to review and comments of the Plan <br />by the Metropolitan Council, <br />
