<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD FEBRUARY 8, 1971. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the village Hall in said Village on <br />February 8, 1971, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Counci lmen Curley, <br />Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Linebarger introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5597 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. ~47l.59 permits the joint exer- <br />cise of powers by political subdivisions, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the joint and co-operative purchasing of <br />various commodities necessary to the operation of Roseville <br />Village government and its various functions would result in <br />lower unit costs and a resulting saving of money for the Village <br />of Roseville by the greater purchasing power of the State of <br />Minnesota, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is now possible to execute a Co-opera- <br />tive Purchasing Agreement with the State of Minnesota for various <br />commodities that the village uses and might desire to buy when <br />and if they become available~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Village Manager and Mayor are hereby instructed <br />to execute, on behalf of the Village of Roseville, the Co-operative <br />Purchasing Agreement with the State of Minnesota, a copy of which <br />is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "I", and incorporated herein by <br />reference.
