TASK 3 PREPARE TRAFFIC ANALYSIS FOR UP TO THE THREE DEVELOPMENT eNnRos
. Prepare traffic analysis for the following conditions:
- Existing conditions
- Office/High Tech F1eHousing miY development
- Variation on preceding scenario
. Develop, for existing and future (2015) conditions and for each of the above scenarios, traffic
volumes for use in the traffic impact analysis and for input into the air and noise analysis.
. Analyze the traffic operations at up to eight key intersections to determine their level of
service. If operations problems are identified, determine the most effective improvements
that could be made to eliminate these problems (e.g., signal retiming, redesignation of
allowable movements by lane, intersection or road striping, etc.).
TASK 4 PERFORM AIR QUALITY ANALYSIS FOR FUTURE YEAR
. Develop base maps at the appropriate scale for input into the air quality and noise modeling
(and for potential use in a future ISP application).
. Review previous reports completed in the general project area that may be pertinent to this
proj ect.
. Run the emission factor model for intersections that operate at Level of Service D or worse.
. Prepare input for the carbon monoxide dispersion model and run the model for up to four
problem intersection for each development scenario.
. Analyze air quality results for exceedances and determine what, if any, additional actions
will be needed to meet carbon monoxide standards (e.g., signal timing, intersection
geometrics, Transportation Demand Management, etc.).
TASK 5 PERFORM NOISE ANALYSIS
. Monitor existing noise levels at a maximum of two representative noise receptor sites, and
analyze noise monitoring results.
. Prepare receptor, roadway and relevant noise barrier input for noise model.
. Run noise model for existing conditions, and compare to monitoring results to validate input
to the noise model.
. Run noise model for future year development scenarios.
. Determine if any noise mitigation will be needed to comply with State noise standards.
2
