City <br />policy sets out that volunteers may be reappointed for an additional terms (Up to 3 terms) if they <br />meet that attendance guideline during their first term. (See Policy attached) <br />Staff has reviewed the commissioner term expirations with the Chairs of the various Commissions, <br />and the following recommendations have been made: <br />Human Ri�ht5: <br />Ale�s J. Orosz is eligible for a reappointment to the Human Rights Commission for the term <br />ending March 3 1, 2004 and in addition, it is recommended she be appointed to serve as Chair <br />for the period ending March 3 1, 2004. <br />Howard Wagner was recently appointed to a term ending on March 3 1, 2001 <br />recommended that Mr. Wagner be reappointed to a term ending March 3 1, 2004. <br />Parks and Recreation Commission: <br />Richard Jacobson was recently appointed to the term ending March 3 1, 2001 <br />recommended that Mr. Jacobson be reappointed to a term ending March 3 1, 2004. <br />It is <br />It is <br />Gale Pederson, George Merrill and Kelley Casey are currently serving on the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission and a review of their attendance in consultation with the Commission <br />Chair, indicates they are eligible for reappointment to terms ending March 3 1, 2004. <br />Planning Commission: <br />James Mulder has been certified as eligible for reappointment. It is recommended that Mr. <br />Mulder be re-appointed to the term ending March 3 1, 2005, and in addition, it is <br />recommended he be appointed to serve as Chair for the period ending March 3 1, 2005. <br />Ethics Commission <br />Mark Battis was appointed a member of the ethics commission on May 5, 2000. 5taff <br />recommends that Mr. Battis be re-appointed for a the three year term ending 03/31/04. <br />
