EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 26�' day of March, 2001 at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIE�V PERIOD FOR THE CAVE & ASSOCIATES REQUEST FOR A C01�IPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN A1�IENDI�IENT AND REZONING PERTAINING TO THE DEVELOPI�IENT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 197 COUNTY ROAD B-2 AS AN 18 UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX (PF 3293). WHEREAS, a completed application by Cave & Associates for a consideration of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment and rezoning was accepted by the City on February 12, 2001, with a 60-day review deadline of April 13, 2001; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the request by Cave & Associates on March 14, 2001, recommending denial of the request as presented. However, the Commission did indicate support for a development that included a medium density design versus the proposed high density design; and WHEREAS, any modifications would require submittal of revised development plans and another public hearing before the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, city staff has requested a 60-day extension to the 60-day review period, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, to allow the applicant time to meet with the neighborhood and create a smaller (unit) development that attempts to preserve an appropriate amount of the natural landscape and addresses neighbors concerns; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to extend the 60-day review timeline in order to afford Cave & Associates the necessary time needed to meet with neighbors and redesign development plans. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, (the "City") Ramsey County, Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, the time line for agency review of the application of Cave & Associates for approval of a Comprehensive Land Use Amendment and Rezoning be extended for 60 days, from April 13, 2001 to June 13, 2001.
