EXTRACT OF 1�IINUTES OF 1�IEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAI�ISEY COUNTY, 1�IINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 9th day of April, 200 1, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: and the following <br />members were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. XXXX <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON CLEVELAND AVENUE <br />FR01�I COUNTY ROAD C TO COUNTY ROAD D <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to County Road D is a County State Aid <br />Highway, with 4 lanes of traffic; <br />AND WHEREAS, in 1997 the County resurfaced Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to <br />County Road D; <br />AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on a 4-lane road narrower than <br />54 feet and consequently, the County will be posting this segment of Cleveland Avenue as no <br />parking, <br />AND WHEREAS, the State requires a Council resolution prohibiting parking where street <br />width does not meet State Aid standards for parking; <br />NOW, TI�REFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that <br />parking is hereby prohibited on both sides of Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to <br />County Road D. <br />The motion was duly seconded by _ <br />the following voted in fa�or thereof: <br />voted against: <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />and the following <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
