EXTRACT OF 1�IINUTES OF 1�IEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAI�ISEY COUNTY, 1�IINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Ha11 at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 7th day of May, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: _ <br />and the following members were absent: <br />Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. xxxx <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1�IN/DOT JOINT PO�VERS AGREEI�IENT FOR <br />HIGH�VAY 36 DRAINAGE STUDY <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, the NTinnesota Department of Children, Families, and Learning Building at 1500 <br />Commerce Street has had basement flooding twice, <br />AND WHEREAS, the City has proposed to install an additional culvert to increase capacity, <br />AND WHEREAS, in order to install this pipe, the city needs to obtain approval & a cost share <br />commitment from NIN/DOT, <br />AND WHEREAS, the basement level of the State's Metro Division Waters Edge Building is <br />both close to the 100-year flood elevation of Zimmerman Lake and the downstream recipient <br />of the drainage coming through the Hwy 36 culvert to Zimmerman Lake, <br />AND WHEREAS, the State's Metro Division Water Resources Engineering Office is <br />requiring that the drainage to the culvert be modeled using XP-SWMN� which is being <br />worked on by a Technical Service named H.R. Green, <br />NOW, TNFRFFORE, BE TT RESOLVID, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, the <br />adoption of a resolution that approves a 7oint Powers agreement between NIN/Dot and the <br />City of Roseville for Professional/Technical Services. <br />The motion was duly seconded by <br />voted in fa�or thereof: <br />following voted against: <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
