EXTRACT OF MI �'TING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL C��� Y OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of May 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1016.22A1(NON- <br />CONFORMITIES) AND SECTION 1016.17C1A (PERMITTED WATER ORIENTED <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURES) OF THE ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE) FOR <br />MIDLAND HILLS COUNTRY CLUB, 2001 FULHAM STREET. <br />WHEREAS, Midland Hills Country Club has requested a 270 square foot variance from <br />Section 1016.22A1 (Non-Conformities) and a 320 square foot variance from Section <br />1016.17C1a (Permitted Water Oriented Accessory Structures) of the Roseville City Code for <br />properry located at 2001 Fulham Street, and legally described as: <br />(PID # 0829233 10007). <br />WHEREAS, Section 1016.22A1 states that non-conformities can continue but are subject <br />to applicable State Statutes and City Ordinance regarding alterations, repair after damage, <br />discontinuance of use, and intensification of use; and <br />WHEREAS, the e�sting irrigation pump house was constructed before the City adopted <br />the shoreland ordinance ad is 520 square feet in size or 270 square feet greater that the code <br />permits; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1016.17C1a permits water oriented accessory structures up to 250 <br />square feet in size; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Midland Hills Country Club increases the pre-e�sting non- <br />conforming water oriented accessory structure from 520 square feet an additional 320 square feet <br />to 840 square feet in size or 590 square feet greater that the code permits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission, on May 9, 2001, conducted a public <br />hearing regarding the Midland Hills variance request and made the following findings: <br />
