First Reading <br />CITY OF ROSEVII,LE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTERS 203 <br />AND 204, OF THE ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE RELATING TO THE <br />COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP OF THE CITY PARKS AND <br />RECREATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSIONS, <br />PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF EX OFFICIO YOUTH <br />CO1�TI�TISSIONERS <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVII,LE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 203.01 of the Roseville City Code regarding the <br />composition of the City Parks and Recreation Commission is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />203 .O1 : ESTABLISHIV�NT AND MEMBERSHIl': <br />There is established a Parks and Recreation Commission of the City which shall consist <br />of nine (9) members appointed by the City CounciL Members shall be appointed for three <br />(3) year terms. In addition to the members a�ointed above. the City Council ma� <br />appoint additional residents of the citv under twentv-one (2 1) vears of age to serve as ex <br />officio members of the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />SECTION 2. Section 204.04 the Roseville City Code regarding the composition <br />of the City Human Rights Commission is amended to read as follows: <br />204.04: MENIBERSHIl'; TERMS AND REMOVAL: <br />A. Membership: The Commission shall consist of ten (10) members, to be appointed <br />by the City CounciL Members of the Commission sha11 be appointed with due regard to <br />their fitness for the efficient dispatch of the functions, powers and duties vested in and <br />imposed upon the Commission. In addition to the members a�ointed above. the Citv <br />Council mav appoint additional residents of the city under twentv-one (21) years of a�e <br />to serve as ex officio members of the Human Ri�hts Commission. <br />SECTION 3. Effective Date.
