EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of June 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 20 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04B1A <br />OF THE ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE FOR JOHN OVERBYE, 2916 WEST OWASSO <br />BOULEVARD (PF 3304) <br />WHEREAS, John Overbye has requested a 20 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a of <br />the Roseville City Code in coordination with City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Overbye's properiy is located at 2916 West Owasso Boulevard and <br />legally described at as: <br />Lot 6, Block 5, Minnesota Realty Co. 's Owasso Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />(PID # 022923130070) <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B1a requires a 26 foot maximum driveway apron width in <br />the public right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mr. Overbye's e�sting driveway is 46 feet in width to access the <br />existing attached garage and provide access to rear garage entry; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Mr. Overbye and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/12/O1. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John <br />Overbye a 20 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a of the Roseville City Code based on the <br />findings in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/26/O1. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
