EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of June 2001, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 36 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04B1A OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR JOHN JAKEL, 3170 WEST OWASSO SOULEVARD (PF 3307) WHEREAS, John Jakel has requested a 36 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a of the Roseville City Code in coordination with City's Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jakel's property is located at 3 170 West Owasso Boulevard and legally described at as: Lot 3, Lake Owasso Park, Ramsey County, Minnesota (PID # 022923110003) WHEREAS, Section 703.04B 1 a requires a 26 foot ma�mum driveway apron width in the public right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the Mr. Jakel's e�sting driveway is 62 feet in width to access the existing detached garage, access towards the home, and provides off-street parking; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the variance request by Mr. Jakel and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on findings outlined in Section 4 of the project report dated 6112/O1. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John Jakel a 36-foot variance from Section 703.04B4 of the Roseville City Code based on the findings in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/26/0 1. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
