These include <br />RCRA Subpart BB/CC, Risk Management Program (RMP), Spill Reporting, <br />Aboveground and Underground Tank management, Oil Pollution Act, and <br />Stormwater programs. This involves both individual efforts and leading <br />cross-functional teams to achieve compliance. <br />Environmental Enqineer (3M): (January 1998 to May 2000) <br />Environmental responsibility at major chemical manufacturing plant. <br />Responsibilities included EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) <br />implementation, Environmental Management S ys t em s implementation, <br />Responsible Care coordination, and overall environmental compliance (air, <br />water, waste). Performed regular safety/housekeeping, and environmental <br />inspections of plant. Initiated and wrote in-plant monthly EHS&R <br />newsletter. Member of local community emergency response planning <br />committee (Wakota CAER). <br />Environmental Compliance Auditor (3M): (1992 to December 1997) <br />Audited manufacturing facilities for compliance with environmental <br />regulations, corporate policies, and liabilities. Prepared audit reports <br />using portable and mainframe computers. Responsible for follow-up <br />oversight to ensure completion of audit items, and making continuous <br />improvements to the overall s ys t em. Heavily involved in development of <br />ISO 14000 EMS strategy for 3M and the associated audit program <br />development. <br />Environmental Enqineer (3M): (1985 to 1991) <br />Corporate responsibility for environmental activities for a major <br />operating division. Included permitting and activities dealing with air, <br />wastewater, and hazardous waste. Routinely dealt with outside <br />environmental agencies. Performed and/or supervised air and water field <br />sampling, and tank removal activities. Conducted extensive search and <br />pilot testing for the most feasible, cost effective, pollution control <br />equipment for 2 major manufacturing plants. Assisted in environmental <br />compliance audits of manufacturing facilities. <br />Responsibilities as system administrator for mainframe and PC hardware. <br />Most accepted Pollution Prevention Pays (3P) projects within corporate <br />environmental department for 2 consecutive years. <br />Environmental Enqineerinq Aide (3M): (1982-1985) <br />Assisted Engineers in completing a wide variety of environmental duties. <br />Performed field sampling for air, water, and hazardous wastes. Rewrote <br />corporate computer program for tracking all 3M hazardous waste shipments. <br />Environmental Technician: <br />United Defense, L_P. (formerly FMC Corp) Fridley, NIN (1980-1982). <br />Ensured in-plant compliance with hazardous waste regulations. Prepared <br />and tracked hazardous waste shipments. Responsible for day to day <br />operations of a chemical wastewater treatment system for large <br />electroplating operation. <br />Stack Tester• <br />II1tAYp011., Inc, Blaine, NIN (1979) . <br />Performed EPA method 5 particulate testing for numerous clients on a <br />variety of air emission sources. <br />
