REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 07/ 18101 <br />ITEM NO.�-3 <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />� ��� ,, 9 <br />; �w� � �G�i� � ��_'P� <br />Item Description: Rescheduling the 7oint Work Session with the Lauderdale City Council <br />Regarding the Proposed Reconstruction of Trunk Highway 280. <br />Background: Mn/DOT is proposing a number of alternatives for the reconstruction of Trunk <br />Highway 280. This reconstruction will impact the communities of Roseville and Lauderdale. <br />Because of the mutual interests of both communities, the City of Roseville scheduled a joint <br />works session with the Lauderdale City Council in the Lauderdale City Ha11 on August 6, <br />2 0 O 1. This date did not work out for all of the members of the Lauderdale Council. <br />It would be possible to reschedule this meeting for the Council's regular work session date, <br />Monday, August 20, at 6:30 pm at Lauderdale City Hall. <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Motion to establish the August 6, 2001 Council work session as the regular August work <br />session and schedule a special work session for August 20, 2001 at 6:30 pm at Lauderdale City <br />Hall for the purpose of hearing Mn/ DOT present alternatives for the reconstruction of Trunk <br />Highway 280. <br />Prepared by: Debra Bloom <br />
