The only alternative to testing would <br />have been to estimate the emissions based on those of other types of <br />incinerators. <br />The tested crematory was equipped with a wet scrubber to give additional <br />control of emissions. However, it was determined from the testing that the <br />web scrubber had very little effect on the emissions. <br />The results of the CANA/EPA tests (shown below) are very favorable overall <br />and are consistent with those of other studies.
