<br />treahnent facilities. 111e EPA has
<br />agreed to publish a final list of
<br />OSWIS and a regulatory schedule by
<br />December 31,1993.
<br />EPA plans to prioritize the use of
<br />its resources by focusing first on
<br />MWCs or municipal waste combus-
<br />tors, then on MWIs ar medical
<br />waste incinerators, and finally on
<br />ICWIs or industrial and commercial
<br />waste incinerators. The selection of
<br />the year 2000 for publication of
<br />OSWI regulations was based on the
<br />EPA Administrator's judgment
<br />"that the proposed categories of
<br />OSWIs are of lesser significance
<br />than MWCs, MWIs, and ICWIS,
<br />and upon the Administrator's
<br />conclusion that it will be a more
<br />efficient use of EPA's resources to
<br />regulate those three source
<br />categories first "
