EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of 7uly 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TWO FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION <br />10071012.02B2 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />222 NORTH MCCARRONS BOULEVARD (PF 3321) <br />WHEREAS, Amy and Gregg Peterson have requested a two foot variance from Section <br />1012.02B2 of the Rosevillc City in order to replace an existing fence to a heigh of six fee in the <br />front yard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Peterson property is located at 222 North McCarrOns Boulevard and <br />legally described as: <br />That part of Lot 32, Thorntons Subdivision of the Northeast '/a of Section 13, Township <br />29, Range 23, lying northerly of a line 217. 00 feet north of the most southerly line of said <br />Lot 32 and its westerly extension, as measured at right angles thereto and parallel with <br />said moth southerly line, and lying east of� the west 85.00 feet thereof, according to the <br />recorded plat thereof (PID # 132923140041) <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.02B2 of the Roseville City Code requires only a fence 48 <br />inches (four feet) in height in a front yard; and <br />WHEREAS, the front yard of a home is determined to be that area that lies from the front <br />property line to the front line of the principal structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Peterson request desires a variance to construct a six foot tall fence a <br />minimum of three feet from the front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />Peterson variance request and recommended (7-O) to approve the request, based on findings <br />outlined in Section 4 of the proj ect report dated 7f 1 ll01. <br />
