EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of July 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 17 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04B1A <br />OF THE ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />3175 WEST OWASSO BOULEVARD (PF 3323) <br />WHEREAS, Paul Grotenhuis has requested a 17 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a of the <br />Roseville City Code in coordination with City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Grotenhuis's property is located at 3 175 West Owasso Boulevard and legally <br />described at as: <br />SECTION2 TOWN29 RANGE 23 A 1.5 FTBY 300 FT STRIP SLY OFAND ADJAND FOL BEG 30 <br />FT S OF N SEC L AND ON WLY L OF OWASSO BL i�D N TH SLY 1 SO FT ON SD WLY L TH WLYAT <br />RA 31 S FT TH NLY AT RA SS 7/10 FT TO PT 30 FT S OF N SEC L TH E TO BEG IN GOVT LOT 1 <br />SEC (PID # 022923110035) <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B 1 a requires a 26 foot maximum driveway apron width in the <br />public right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, the NIr. Grotenhuis's e�sting driveway is 49 feet in width to access the e�sting <br />detached garage; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the variance <br />request by Mr. Grotenhuis and recommended (7-O) to approve the request, based on findings outlined <br />in Section 4 of the project report dated 7/11/O 1. <br />NOW TI�REFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Paul <br />Grotenhuis a 17 foot variance from Section 703.04B la of the Roseville City Code based on the <br />findings in Section 4 of the project report dated 7/23/O1. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in fa�or: <br />and the following were absent: <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
