EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of 7uly 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 25 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1007.OlAlA <br />AND A 10 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1007.OlAlA OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2361 WEST HIGHWAY 36 (PF 3328) <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo & Associates have requested a 25 foot variance for the west side <br />of the structure and a 10 foot variance from the south side of the structure for the purpose of <br />using the existing building for office and for a mechanical room addition; and <br />WHEREAS, the Bonestroo property is located at 23 16 West Highway 36, legally <br />described as: <br />Revised Description No. 1140, a specifzc part of the Northeast'/4 of the Southwest'/Q of <br />Section 8, Township 29, Range 23, City of Roseville, Minnesota (PID # 082923310007). <br />WHEREAS, Section 1007.01 A 1a of the Roseville City Code requires a front yard <br />setback of 40 feet from a property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Bonestroo property is a comer lot having a 40 foot setback requirement <br />adjacent St. Croix Street (west) and West Highway 36 (south); and <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo proposes to convert the office warehouse structure into a primary <br />office building and needs an new mechanical room to house the HVAC equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Mr. Bonestroo & Associates and recommended (7-O) to approve the request, <br />based on findings outlined in Section 4 of the proj ect report dated 7/ 1 1/O 1. <br />
