, Vl--c,-
July 5, 200 1
Attached is a list of residents of the Roseville
Senior House at 1045 West Larpenteur Avenue who are
interested in getting better bus service. We no longer
have public bus service directly to the Rosedale
Shopping Center. It is now necessary for us to transfer to
another bus in order to get there. The bus steps are high,
making it dificult for us to mount. To do this again,
before we are able to get to Rosedale, is a hardship many
of us as, especially those of us who must use a cane.
The Roseville Area Service Program supplies us
with a van that can accommodate the more seriously
handicapped. It does take riders to the Rosedale
shopping center, to Rainbow, Target, etc. but it can take
only eight people at a time and we are not the only place
that gets that service. In order for those of us who are
more seriously handicapped to get transportation, the rest
of us depend upon public bus service.
. We would be happy to use the Roseville
Circulator but it does not come to our building.
Transportation for seniors is a serious problem. Can you
help?
Sincerely,
The Residents of the Roseville Senior House
1045 West Larpenteur Avenue
Roseville, MN 55 113
Send any correspondence to:
Sophie Sawicki — Apartment 3 18
