Date: 9/10/O1 Item: B-1 � `.� DRAFT Copy - City Council Minutes - DRAFT Copy Regular Meeting of August 27, 2001 The City Council met on the above date with the following members present 6:34 p.m. (voting order): Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Roll Call Absent: none. A. Communications and Public Comment A-1 Mayor Kysylyczyn: Noted that a citizen, Merlyn Scroggins, had distributed a copy of the 8/6/O1 Wa11 Street Journal Tech Skirmish: Energy-Saving Light Bulbs Mar Satelite Radio, about engineering hi-powered lighting, and hi-tech communication. A-2 Dick Lambert, resident of Roseville, asked Council to pass an ordinance requiring disclosure of campaign contributions relating to the proposed City Charter. Maschka asked the City Attorney to provide written legal advice. [Note: legal opinion on this subject was distributed to the City Council, Mr. Lambert and other requestors on September 6,200 1.] A-3 Duane Siglar, resident of Roseville, asked candidates this Fall to sign a pledge requiring disclosure of all campaign contributions. B. Approval of Minutes B-1 Kysylyczyn noted that the August 13, 200 1 Minutes failed to reflect the departure of a council member and moved to approve the minutes reflecting that change, Klausing seconded approval of the minutes, as presented. Roll Ca11, Ayes: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. 1�Tinutes C. Consent Agenda Consent Agenda Kysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, that Items C-1 through C-3 be approved. C-1 Kysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, to adopt a resolution to Resolution 9921 approve a 60-day extension to the plan review deadline for the Robert Reichenbach request by Robert Reichenbach (PF3334) from September 15 to 1858 Hamline Av November 14, 2001. Roll Call, Ayes: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, 60-day Extension Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. (PF3334)
