��� <br />City Council Minutes <br />Regular Meeting of October 8, 2001 <br />DATE: 10/22/O1 <br />ITEM: B-1 <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present 6:35 p.m. <br />(voting order): Klausing, Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel and Kysylyczyn. Absent: Roll Call <br />none. <br />Without objection, Kysylyczyn moved to Items G-1 & G-2, Recognitions. Agenda Change <br />Recognitions <br />G-1 Kent Carlson, Ryan Companies Vice President in charge of the Ryan Companies <br />Centre Pointe Development, described the Centre Pointe <br />Development and Veritas Project. He presented the Council a <br />mounted site plan of the Center Pointe Business and photos of the <br />Veritas Regional Headquarters Building and thanked the Council for <br />their support and vision in completing the Centre Pointe Business <br />Park. The Mayor and Council thanked Mr. Carlson and the Ryan <br />Companies for their work in the City. <br />G-2 Beets read the Toastmasters' Proclamation. Kysylyczyn presented Toastmasters <br />the Proclamation to Laurie Spangler, proclaiming October Proclamation <br />Toastmasters Month in the City of Roseville. <br />A. Communications and Public Comment <br />A-1 Beets circulated letters of recognition and thanks for Ms. Margaret <br />Olsen, an award-winning Roseville Area Middle School teacher, and <br />Randall R. Nord, President and CEO of Horton, Incorporated, who <br />recently celebrated the Grand Opening of their new building on <br />Walnut Street in Roseville. <br />A-2 Beets reminded Council Members and the Public about the <br />Celebration at Rosebrook Park, Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 9:30 <br />a.m., and the City's Open House that same day from 10:00 a.m. to <br />2:00 p.m. <br />A-3 Kysylyczyn spoke about public records and the Ethics Commission <br />investigation. <br />A-4 Goedeke spoke about Horton, Incorporated, and about the need to <br />set priorities for Association of Metropolitan Municipalities (AMM) <br />legislative policies. <br />
