The garden shed must be located no closed than 2-1/2 feet from the west property line. 7. 0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION 7.1 On November 14, 2001, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the Telstad request. At this hearing, no citizens were present and the Commission had only minor questions regarding the existing shed and notification response, to which the property owner and the City Planner addressed. 7.2 The Roseville Planning Commission voted (5-0) to recommend approval of a 2-1/2 foot side yard variance from Section 1004.O1A8 of the Roseville City Code to allow construction of a 10 foot by 10 foot (100 sq. ft) garden shed on property located at 2993 Fairview Avenue, based on the comments and findings in Section 3 and 4, and the conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated November 14, 2001, and the use of wood material materials matching the existing garage. 8.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION 8.1 Adopt a resolution to approve (approve w/modifications or deny) the request by James Telstad for a 2-1/2 foot side yard variance to Section 1004.O1A8 of the Roseville City Code to allow construction of a 10 foot by 10 foot (100 sq. ft) garden shed on property located at 2993 Fairview Avenue, based on the comments and findings in Section 3, 4, and 5, and the conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated November 26, 2001, and the use of wood materials matching the existing garage.
