NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL FOR A PRIVATE SCHOOL FACILITY PROJECT (CONCORDIA ACADEMY 1NFORMATION/TECHNOLOGY ADDITION) Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), will meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in the City at 6:30 p.m. on December 17, 2001, to consider the proposal of either The Lutheran High School Association of St. Paul or St. Paul Lutheran High School Association d/b/a Concordia Academy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit Minnesota corporation (the "Corporation") that the City assist in financing a project hereinafter described by the issuance of private school facility revenue bonds. Description of Project To refund an existing mortgage note which financed improvements to the Corporation's facilities and also to finance an appro�mately 25,560 square foot three-leveUtwo-story addition to the east-side of the e�sting high school building consisting of an information/technology center to house the e�sting distance learning lab, intemet lab, language lab, and the special needs classroom; with lower level locker rooms; and an elevator, for students in grades 9 through 12. The addition, like the facilities financed by the obligation to be refunded, is located at 2400 North Dale Street in the City. The maximum aggregate estimated principal amount of bonds or other obligations to be issued to finance this project is $4,500,000. The project will be owned and operated by the Corporation. The bonds or other obligations if and when issued will not constitute a charge, lien or encumbrance upon any property of the City except the project, and such bonds or obligations will not be a charge against the City's general credit or ta�ng powers but will be payable from sums to be paid by the Corporation pursuant to a revenue agreement. A draft copy of the proposed application to the Commissioner of the Department of Trade and Economic Development, State of Minnesota, for approval of the project, together with all attachments and e�ibits thereto, is available for public inspection during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, at the City Hall in the City. At the time and place fixed for the Public Hearing, the City Council of the City will give all persons who appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposaL In addition, interested persons may file written comments respecting the proposal with the Manager at or prior to said public hearing.
