Klausing <br />reviewed the arguments within the appeal and indicated he was <br />inclined to deny the appeaL Kysylyczyn asked Jamnik about the <br />interpretation of the applicable sections of the City Code. <br />Klausing commented on the scope of the Council's authority. <br />Klausing moved, Kysylyczyn seconded to deny the appeal of Mr. <br />Vengesana R. Sridhar of 654 Grandview of the removal of <br />dangerous portions of a tree, as identified in the photograph <br />displayed and marked in the Council's proceedings, from his <br />premises and to authorize the notification of Sridhar that he has 30 <br />days from December 12, 2001 to remove the designated portions of <br />the tree from his properiy and if Mr. Sridhar fails to comply within <br />the 30 day period, that the City will, within 10 days, order a <br />licensed contractor to remove the dangerous portion of the tree and <br />assess the costs to the property. Roll Ca11, Ayes: Klausing, Mastel, <br />Goedeke, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none.
