REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department Approval: <br />Date: 01.07.02 <br />Item No: C-2 <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br />Item Description: Annual Meeting of the Loca1 Development Corporation <br />1.0 BACKGROUND <br />1.1 The City's Local Development Corporation was formed in 1988 to work with HUD <br />regarding a low interest loan program at Villa Pazk. The Corporation would be available <br />for use in other similar situations. <br />1.2 Annually, the Council meets as the Corporation to elect new officers. It may also meet <br />other times as needed. <br />2.0 FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br />2.1 There are no financial implications as this is an organizational business item only. <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />3.1 Staff is recommending that the City Council set the meeting time on January 28, 2002, at <br />6:00 p.m. <br />4.0 COUNCIL ACTION <br />Motion to approve January 28, 2001, at 6:00 p.m., as a date and time for the meeting of <br />the Roseville Local Development Corporation.
